Since 1988 Tongham Parish Council has maintained a number of allotments located in Spoil Lane Tongham.

The gardens are a real haven of peace and tranquillity, with some plots holding beehives, some with chickens and the majority growing fruit, flowers and vegetables. There is a ‘loo’ . Bonfires are allowed ONLY between 1st – 10th November every year. 

There are 82 allotments in total and they are in great demand.

Plots are let, to residents of Tongham, for 12 months from 1st April each year. The annual cost of an allotment is £40.00, or £20.00 for concessions.
